Performance Venue
All performances are held at the Emporia Greensville Performing Arts Center, located at the Greensville Elementary School, 1101 Sussex Drive (Hwy. 301 North), Emporia, VA. The venue has been designed for optimum visibility from all sections of the theater. The entire facility is only 21 rows deep. To achieve excellent viewing angles,  the seats form an “arc” around the stage. Seating capacity is 905.

Ticket Policies
All ticket sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges. Dates and artists are subject to change. In the event of a performance cancellation, the MRAC will make all efforts to find a suitable replacement. The MRAC encourages patrons to make tax deductible donations of unused tickets back to the MRAC. Donated tickets must be returned to the MRAC Box Office at least two (2) business days before the performance.

Lost of Stolen Tickets
Lost or stolen tickets will be replaced at no charge. Contact the MRAC Box Office (434-634-6001) as soon as possible during regular business hours.

Holiday Gifts
Frustrated by Christmas shopping and buying what you hope will be a special gift?  MRAC season tickets make great Christmas, birthday and special occasion gifts.  

All MRAC performances will be held at 7:30 PM.  Doors open at 6:45 PM 

Late Seating
Theater doors open 45 minutes prior to curtain. As a courtesy to our patrons, latecomers are seated at an appropriate break in the program at the discretion of the ushers and performers.

Show Policy
In the event of an unavoidable change, The Meherrin River Arts Council reserves the right to present a substitute show, artist, date or time for the performance.  All presentation dates, times and/or content are subject to change.  Season tickets purchased are considered a final sale. There are no refunds and no exchanges.

Concert Policies
To ensure the best experience for everyone, please turn off or silence all cell phones and other audible electronic devices before the performance. Photography and filming is prohibited.

Most performances will have a 20-minute intermission. During that time, the Combined Youth Group of Main Street will provide refreshments in the main school lobby. Donations are accepted.

Handicapped Facilities
The Performing Arts Center features handicapped seating and parking. If you require a handicapped seat please communicate this to our box office staff when placing your order. Handicapped parking spaces may be used by simply displaying a current state issued handicapped parking permit.

Inclement Weather
Performances will go on as scheduled provided the entertainer is able to travel to the Emporia Greensville Performing Arts Center. In the event of inclement weather, pleasecheck the MRAC website or Facebook page or call the Box Office (434-634-6001 for cancellation information. 

Men’s and women’s restrooms are located in the theater lobby and adjacent to the main school lobby.
